A place that you have to see!

Hormoz Island located in the Persian Gulf on the southwest coast of Iran, a piece of paradise with silver sand shores, colored mountains, pristine red beaches and salt caves which are surrounded by rocks and sea.
The beauty of nature and also the kindness of indigenous people who live there cheerfully are the reasons for tourists and backpackers to visit this incredible place.

Hormoz is almost always sweltering and in the summer the temperature can exceed 50°c so the best season for traveling to this island in winter.

In the 14th century, the Mongol Ilkhan invaded Hormoz but it was defeated by Portuguese in 1505 who attempted to expand their influence into the Indian Ocean. However, Hormoz became independent by Shah Abbas.

Mofanegh Beach

There are numerous magnificent views over the sea, that make Hormoz surprisingly unique.

Mofanegh is one of the picturesque sandy beaches you can enjoy camping, watching plentiful stars and taking wonderful photos of planktons shining through the night.

Valley of the Statues

If you are interested in mysterious magic, you need to see this charming natural site where enormous rocks have been sculpted into strange shapes.

By a bit of imagination, you will be able to see a dragon, bird and mythical creatures in many different forms.

This valley located on a steep cliff rising above the beach where you would enjoy watching the sunset and large ships on the horizon.

The Red Carpet

The Iranian artists have designed the sixth world soil carpet in Hormoz. The length of this carpet is expanding every year and it grabs so many tourists` attention.

The soil called Gellak has been used in cooking bread and cosmetic.

Whoever visited this magical rainbow colored gem once couldn't forget it!

There are some more attractive landscapes in Hormoz like Portuguese Castle, Rainbow Valley, and Salt Valley and last but not least you will certainly enjoy the peace and quiet of the town.
