How to dress in Iran

Dress Etiquette:

Because of dress etiquette and  according to Iran government and Iran’s official Islamic dress code there are some rules to fallow for both women  and  men as tourists:

–  Women have to always dress appropriately and cover their hair by headscarf at the moment they get off the plane at the airport or arrive at the border.

– women are not allowed to go out without suitable clothes and headscarf.

– Men must not wear shorts and basketball t-shirts on the streets in Iran.

Arriving without a visa is risky, as the visa-on-arrival process sees a lot of people turned away.
